TRC Solutions are exhibiting at the Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE), this year, following on from a very successful event in 2016. RBTE is one of Europe’s largest and best events for retail technology and is continually looking at ways to deliver more for visitors. Every year, there are over 15,000 visitors and 350 exhibitors who come together to launch, discuss and share the latest in trends, technology and thought leadership. This year the event will take place in London Olympia on the 8th and 9th of May. TRC Solutions will be exhibiting the SAP Business One and iVend unified platform for Retail on Stand 520 along with the RFID enabled, Intelligent Fitting Room solution.
You can see the full conference overview here and arrange to meet with TRC Solutions at Stand 520.
Technology Trends at RBTE
The event is one of the biggest in Europe and in addition to the National Retail Federation (NRF) event in New York in January, is a must attend for any retailers who are planning to invest in technology in 2017. It’s a one-stop shop where you can meet with existing and prospective partners, while taking time out to review the latest technology and discuss trends with thought leaders.
This year we’re teaming up once again with our partner iVend, a world leader in omni channel retail management solutions. iVend will be showcasing their end-to-end integrated omni channel solution, digital passes and the leading edge mobile loyalty function. According to our CEO Gavin Peacock, ‘SAP Business One ERP deployed in conjunction with iVend delivers a unified omni channel platform for the retailer, this is direction in which enterprise retailers are moving – one, single version of the truth!’. Our partnership with iVend and SAP Business One is going from strength to strength.
It’s not just the list of exhibitors that will surely draw in a larger crowd that last year’s 15,460. The conference agenda looks very promising, featuring keynotes from Adam Bialy, Head of Digital Payments at Sainsbury’s, Akshata Madhav, eCommerce Analytics Manager at New Look and Dave Robinson, Head of Personalisation at Boots. In our experience, the sessions are always engaging, with plenty of cutting edge ideas being shared and discussed. RBTE really is a melting pot of ideas that generate conversations and answers that retailers can bring back to their businesses.
Focused on Omni Channel
Omni channel (or multi channel), is currently a hot topic in the media and retail publications. We all acknowledge that shoppers want a more connected experience. According to a recent survey by iVend, 1 in 5 consumers want the same level of personalisation in store that they receive online, so that the retailer serves them what they want when they want it. Retailers should be able to view their store through the eyes of the consumer, knowing who they are, what they bought, what they want and how they pay. However, many retailers struggle to deliver upon this challenge. TRC Solutions are focused on helping retailers provide a seamless and positive customer experience which benefits the consumer and increases long term profitability of the retailer. We have focused on the challenges that retailers face, putting the elements together and producing technology that delivers a unified solution.
The Intelligent Fitting Room
This year at RBTE we will be showcasing our Intelligent Fitting Room solution. The Intelligent Fitting Room has been developed for progressive apparel retailers who have already deployed RFID tagging into their operation. This cutting edge solution allows the retailer to achieve additional return on investment by leveraging the RFID tagging that has already been put in place. Intelligent Fitting Room improves the shopping experience for the customer, enables sales people to serve customers better and leads to increased sales and profitability for the retailer.
